Ananda Gaorii Friendship Association Startup Gathering

You are invited to a gathering at Ananda Gaorii for an exploration day and future workshop on co-creating a volunteer friendship association. Many people enjoy coming to Ananda Gaorii and we hope this association will help us create a community of friends who can, in an enjoyable and more organised way, improve, expand and participate in the activities and facilities of Ananda Gaorii. 

Program

9:30-10:15: Arrival,  make a nice cup for tea for yourselves.

10:15-10:45: Opening Circle: Welcome! Who we are? A few icebreakers

10:50-11:20: Introduction to Ananda Gaorii, Ananda Marga and the concept of the friendship association              

11:30-12.30: Collecting participants thoughts and ideas about the possibilities of the friendship association through a mini “Future Workshop” 

13-13:30: Break for fresh air and/or short meditation

13:30-14:00: Lunch

14:00-14:30: Free Time

14:30-16:00: Continuation of Future Workshop (helping create a vision for the association)

16:15-17.15: Practicalities:

1. Presentation of Draft Constitution and comments

2. Call for interest in serving on the border secretariat  of the association and explanation of positions we wish to fill +vision for our way forward next x month(s)

3. Decision of time for general assembly possibilit: 

   1. If the numbers and motivation are sufficien,t we can go ahead! and elect the first board in this meeting  itself declaring  it our actual  general assembly! ;-)

   2. We can set a future - soonest possible date

17:15-17:45: Closing Circle: A song, some sharing and appreciation

17:45-18:00: Departure/Free Time. Those who wish to stay can join Collective Kiirtan & Meditation, dinner and a pleasant social evening

18:00-19:00 Kiirtan and Meditation

19:00-20:00: Dinner

20:00-22:00: “Kakkelovns hygge” (Fireside Coziness): Music, snacks and stories around the fire while sisters and brothers who wish can take turns in the sauna

• 20:30-21:15: Sisters’ Sauna

• 21:30-22:15: Brothers’ Sauna

22:30: Goodnight. (P.S. If you need somewhere to stay in VIG for the night, Because you  e.g. like to visit our ashram Sunday1 - let us know and we will assist you in finding the best solution for this wish)

Participation is free of charge but there is an option to donate one, two or three hundred krone to support the association.
